Feeling Stressed Out? You Have a Way Out for Sure :D

We all experience stress. The frequency may vary, but the occurrence is inevitable.  Stress, if not taken care of, may lead to more serious symptoms. Let me tell you the normal symptoms which indicate that you are stressed out.
  • Feeling irritable
  • Feeling frustrated at having to wait for something
  • Feeling restless
  • Unable to concentrate
  • Becoming easily confused
  • Having memory problems
  • Thinking about negative things all the time
  • Negative self-talk
  • Having marked mood swings
  • Eating too much or very less
  • Eating when you are not hungry
  • Not having enough energy to get things done
  • Feeling you can't cope
  • Finding it hard to make decisions
  • Having emotional outbursts
  • Generally feeling upset
  • Lack of sense of humor

Wait. Contemplate. Now ask yourself. How many of these are bothering you?  But then, I would not like to stress you out with the long list of symptoms….calm down. Trust me; there is solution for every problem you may have under the sun.
There are very simple ways following which you can get relief too.

Take a walk

Does your house or your office feel like a pressure cooker? Get out and let your feet take you somewhere. .. Take a long walk; it will clear your head.

Call a friend

Think of someone who brings smile to your face. Your friend?  Mother?  Daughter/son? Give him a buzz and talk for a few minutes. If you can manage, go and meet, have a heart to heart talk…or spend some good time.

Write in a journal

Write down whatever you are feeling. You do not have to worry about how the person in front of you will reciprocate? Writing a journal means speaking to your own self. By the time you’re done, that negativity will be on their way out of your system.

Work up a sweat

Feeling a confined disturbance or disappointment? Pop in a workout jacket, start hard exercising and get busy working up a sweat. Imagine, the bad thought, the painful emotion is parting from you through your pores.

Take a hot bath

A hot bath will give a kick to your body as well as your mind. Add bubbles and a few aroma candles to create ultimate soothing atmosphere. Your partner into that same tub is optional

You have one life. And you need to take control of that as and when needed.

Try these steps to kick stress out of your system...

Till then,

Keep the faith!

Mind is Powerful: Be the Ruler or Be Ruled!

What is mind?

Mind does not have any physical character, at times used as synonymous to the soul. But I do not agree, as soul has no attribute or characteristic...but mind has.

Few neuroscientists, such as the Nobel Prize recipient Sir John Eccles, asserted that the mind is distinct from the body, but most of them now believe that all aspects of mind, which are often equated with consciousness, are likely to be explained in a more materialistic way as the behavior of neuronal cells. In the opinion of the famous neurophysiologist José Maria Delgado (5) "it is preferable to consider the mind as a functional entity devoid of metaphysical or religious implications per se and related only to the existence of a brain and to the reception of sensory inputs".

This question can be purely philosophical. But the scientists have understood to some extent that the most complex human behavior, i;e; the phenomena of consciousness, attention and thought, is induced by brain mechanism.

The brain mechanism is the key behind the creation and evolution of human society, because it is strong and complex enough to answer for mysteries of learning, memory, emotion, creativity, consciousness, mystical-religious experience and even madness!

With all its vastness and complexities, brain mechanisms play in tandem to make a human what it should be like. The mind is the single most powerful weapon we have. Just as the nuclear power, the mind has its dark side as well.

The dark side of mind can make a mess out of a life. Let us overpower that dark force and get the best of what a beautiful mind can offer: Peace, Love, Excellence, Beauty, Reason, Balance and more.
